Analyze signals in three dimensions with spectrogram
The N9343C equipped with Option SIM provides a spectrogram function for viewing the behavior of varying signal parameters over time. The scrolling three-dimensional display shows frequency and power performance, including intermittent signals. The spectrogram analyzes the stability of a signal over the time, and identifies intermittent interference signals in communications systems.
This option offers three display modes: spectrogram only, spectrum trace only, or the combination of a spectrogram and a spectrum trace. Limit lines with pass/fail functionality are available in the spectrogram. The N9343C identifies the failed frame of spectrogram data with a red mark. The pass/fail tests provide alerts.
Record and playback
Option N9343C-SIM continuously monitors and saves spectrogram data over time to both the analyzer's internal memory and an external USB memory stick. The option saves more than 1,500 continuous frames of data and stores it for future use.
View details with marker
This option identifies power versus frequency and time. Two markers allow the user to read spectrogram details. The marker peak search function finds the strongest interference. Using the pass/fail function allows the use of a marker to quickly identify the previous/next failed frame.
This option can be added as a product upgrade.
